What to know before you arrive.
What ages are accepted?
Workshops are open to adults and mature teens ages 16 and up.
Do I need acting experience?
No extensive acting experience is required. Participants should be willing to actively engage, collaborate, and take creative risks.
Are payments handled online?
Yes. All deposits and tuition payments are handled online. See the payment page for deposit options and upcoming payment links.
Are deposits refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable. The deposit reserves your placement in the workshop.
What happens if I withdraw?
Tuition payments may be refunded excluding the deposit. The non-refundable deposit is forfeited upon withdrawal.
What happens if a class session is canceled?
If a class session is canceled by Out of the Hat, a makeup class will be scheduled.
What should I bring?
Participants should bring a pen or pencil, comfortable clothing that allows movement, water if desired, and a willingness to participate actively.
Will there be filming or photography?
Occasional promotional photos or video may be taken during workshops. Participation in any filming or photography is always with your permission.
